Projec3Rs Project: Respect, Relationships, and Reconciliationts
What is the 3Rs Framework?
At Warranara Primary School, we follow the 3Rs Framework — Respect, Relationships, and Reconciliation — to build a safe and inclusive environment for all learners.
This framework helps us embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into everyday learning.

Relationships
Building strong, meaningful relationships is key to learning.
We connect with local Aboriginal communities, invite guest speakers, and encourage students to listen, share, and collaborate.
These relationships help students feel valued, included, and connected.

Respect
We teach students to respect First Nations cultures and knowledge systems by learning their stories, traditions, and contributions to Australian society.
Activities include:
-
Acknowledgement of Country during assemblies
-
Displaying Aboriginal artwork and symbols in classrooms
-
Learning about local Indigenous history

Reconciliation
Reconciliation is not just a word – it’s action.
Our students participate in:
-
National Reconciliation Week
-
Sorry Day activities
-
Creating Reconciliation artwork and pledges
These actions help our school community heal, grow, and walk together toward a more just future.
